6 Uzbek call girls held

With the arrest of six women from Uzbekistan, Delhi police have busted a high-profile call girl racket.

The women were running the racket from a house in Chattarpur in south Delhi.

Police said the kingpin is a 33-year-old woman from Uzbekistan, who had been staying in India for the past three years and acting as a pimp.

“Six women, including a woman pimp, have been arrested. The pimp has been staying in India since 2009 after getting a visa extension on various grounds. She facilitated her other colleagues to come and stay in Delhi on a tourist visa,” said Sanjay Kumar Jain, DCP (crime).

Police said the woman had got the Chattarpur extension house on a monthly rent of R14,000. “Some girls lived with her in this house, while for others she had arranged accommodation in Vasant Vihar. Her job was to arrange for the girls’ transport and accommodation in the city,” Jain added.

Police said the pimp arranged for clients to meet the girls and also fixed the price per girl according to the perceived payment capacity of the client.

“She charged between R20,000 to R25,000 per girl per night. The charges increased to R1 lakh for other services including belly dancing, weekend parties and travel companions to various destinations such as Shimla, Jaipur and Goa,” Jain further said.

The customers were entertained only after they provided reference of a ‘trusted’ client.

“She even got one girl married to an Indian national to enable her to get multiple entry visa on marital grounds,” he said.

All arrested persons are in the age group of 27 to 33 years. The arrest came following a tip-off that an international call girl racket was being run in south Delhi.

Acting on the tip-off, a deal was struck through an Indian pimp and decoy customer. Police said the girls would come to India on a tourist visa for three to six months, go back and then return after some time.
